1. Eligibility

To register as a member or use this Site, you must be of legal marriageable age under the laws of India (currently 18 years or over for females and 21 years or over for males), and legally competent to enter into matrimony. SHEHNAI.IN reserves the right to terminate your membership without refund if it believes you are ineligible or have misrepresented your eligibility.

2. Term

You may terminate your membership at any time by writing to SHEHNAI.IN; unutilized subscription fees are non-refundable except where otherwise stated in writing. SHEHNAI.IN may terminate your membership for any reason, effective on notice sent to your registered email address.

3. Non-commercial use by members

The Site is for the personal use of individual members to advertise their profile and cannot be used for commercial purposes. Organizations, companies, and businesses cannot become Members. Unauthorized or illegal use of the Site will be investigated and may result in civil, criminal, or injunctive action.

4. Other terms of use by members

• SHEHNAI.IN may review the activity and status of any account and block it based on such review.
• By registering, you consent to receiving emails, messages, and calls from SHEHNAI.IN and its members related to phone verification, matrimonial advertising, enquiries, and promotions - this consent supersedes any DND/NCPR registration.
• Multiple profiles of the same person are not allowed; all duplicates may be deactivated without refund.
• You may not use the Service to advertise or solicit the sale of unrelated products or services, send chain letters or junk email, or use information obtained from other members to harass, abuse, or harm another person.
• Automated processes (bots, scripts) may not be used to view content on or interact with SHEHNAI.IN.
• SHEHNAI.IN reserves the right to screen and, at its sole discretion, delete unwarranted or obscene communications between members.

5. Proprietary rights in the content on SHEHNAI.IN

SHEHNAI.IN owns and retains all proprietary rights in the Site and Service, including copyrighted material and trademarks. Except for information in the public domain (such as a member profile) or for which permission has been obtained, you may not copy, modify, publish, transmit, distribute, or sell any such proprietary information.

6. Content posted on the site

You are solely responsible for all content you upload, post, or transmit via the Service. SHEHNAI.IN does not control or guarantee the accuracy of member-submitted content and may delete any listing that, in its sole judgment, violates this Agreement or is offensive, illegal, or harmful. Prohibited content includes material that is defamatory, harassing, pornographic, exploits minors, promotes illegal activity, or solicits passwords or personal information for unlawful purposes. Members may not include telephone numbers, street addresses, URLs, or email addresses in a profile visible to other members.

7. Copyright policy

You may not post, distribute, or reproduce any copyrighted material, trademark, or other proprietary information without the prior written consent of the rights owner. Notices of claimed copyright infringement can be sent in writing to our Ahmedabad address listed under Contact.

8. Member disputes

You are solely responsible for your communications with other members. SHEHNAI.IN reserves the right, but has no obligation, to monitor disputes between members, and expressly disclaims responsibility for transactions or interactions between members.

9. Privacy

Use of the Site and Service is governed by our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers

SHEHNAI.IN is not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate content posted on the Site, or for the conduct of any user or member. The exchange of matrimonial profiles through SHEHNAI.IN is not a matrimonial offer or recommendation from SHEHNAI.IN, and the Site and Service are provided “as-is” without warranty of any kind.

11. Limitation on liability

SHEHNAI.IN will not be liable for any indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or Service. SHEHNAI.IN's total liability to you for any cause will at all times be limited to the amount you have paid, if any, for the Service during your membership term.

12. Jurisdiction

Any dispute involving the Site or Service is governed by the laws of India and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Ahmedabad, India.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold SHEHNAI.IN, its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, and employees harmless from any loss, liability, or claim arising from your use of the Service in violation of this Agreement.

14. Service plans and payment

By subscribing, you agree to the details of your selected plan and to pay accordingly. Once payment is received, it is non-refundable. If you have subscribed to the Basic plan and found a match with another Shehnai member, you are required to pay the full fees per the Regular Plan.
